Shipping at AutoEfect. Buying new styling parts is the easy part. Waiting for them to arrive is usually the hardest. We understand the feeling. You’ve already imagined how that carbon fiber spoiler, steering wheel, diffuser, or mirror caps will look on your vehicle long before the package reaches your door.
Our mission is simple: get your order moving as quickly as possible while keeping you informed along the journey. Every order follows its own route, and just like every road trip, a few unexpected detours can occasionally happen. That’s simply the reality of international shipping.
Rather than making promises we can’t guarantee, we prefer to be transparent about our shipping process so you’ll know what happens every step of the way.
Your Order Doesn’t Sit Around
The moment your order is successfully placed, it enters our fulfillment system where it begins its trip toward becoming a real shipment instead of just another confirmation email.
Some products are already waiting in stock.
Others are prepared only after they’re ordered.
Certain premium steering wheels, carbon fiber components, and personalized accessories require additional manufacturing or quality inspection before they’re considered ready to leave the warehouse.
Since each automotive accessory is produced and prepared differently, processing times may not be the same for every order. We’d rather take a little extra time to verify every detail than rush out a package that doesn’t meet our standards.
Cars deserve attention to detail.
So do the parts that improve them.
Why Orders Sometimes Arrive in More Than One Box
Imagine ordering a new steering wheel, LED lighting, mirror covers, and a rear diffuser.
They might all be traveling to the same address.
They simply may not begin the journey from the same place.
AutoEfect works with several fulfillment partners to offer a broader range of styling products without forcing customers to pay premium local warehouse prices.
That means your order may be divided into separate shipments.
One package might arrive on Monday.
Another on Thursday.
The last one may decide to make a scenic tour through a customs facility before finally showing up.
As long as you’ve received shipping confirmation for your items, separate deliveries are completely normal.
Your order hasn’t been forgotten.
It’s simply arriving one upgrade at a time.
Delivery Estimates Are Exactly That—Estimates
We can provide a general delivery estimate based on the route and destination.
We cannot promise that every road will be free from traffic.
Shipping companies transport millions of parcels every day. Most arrive within the expected timeframe, while a small number encounter circumstances nobody can predict in advance.
Weather changes.
Flights are rescheduled.
Customs authorities perform inspections.
National holidays temporarily slow transportation networks.
Sometimes an entire cargo container waits because one document needs another signature.
International shipping involves many organizations working together, and not all of them belong to AutoEfect.
When delays occur, we continue monitoring the shipment and help whenever carrier assistance is required.
Patience isn’t the most exciting vehicle upgrade, but occasionally it’s the one every customer receives free of charge.
Tracking Is Your Travel Diary
Whenever tracking information is available, we’ll send it after your package begins its journey.
If the tracking page doesn’t immediately display movement, don’t panic.
Many shipping companies scan parcels in batches rather than individually every few minutes.
This means your package may already be traveling while the tracking page still looks surprisingly quiet.
Think of tracking like checking traffic at 3 a.m.
Just because you don’t see many updates doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Most tracking systems refresh automatically once the parcel reaches its next major checkpoint.
One Address Makes Everyone Happier
Before completing your purchase, spend a minute checking your delivery information.
Street names.
Apartment numbers.
Postal codes.
Phone numbers.
Small typing mistakes can create surprisingly long adventures for packages.
Couriers are incredibly good at finding addresses.
They’re much less successful at finding “the white house beside the tall tree with the friendly dog.”
Accurate information helps your order reach the correct garage on the first attempt instead of collecting unexpected sightseeing photos from different distribution centers.
International Shipping Has a Mind of Its Own
Sending automotive parts across countries is a bit like organizing a road rally with dozens of participants. Every shipment changes hands several times before reaching its final destination.
A package may leave one warehouse, travel through an export facility, board an aircraft, arrive at an import center, clear customs, move to a regional sorting hub, and finally be delivered by your local carrier.
Most of these steps happen quietly behind the scenes.
Occasionally, one of them decides to take a little longer than expected.
That’s perfectly normal for international deliveries and doesn’t automatically mean something has gone wrong.
Customs Doesn’t Work for AutoEfect
Every country has its own import rules, procedures, and inspection process.
Some shipments pass through customs almost immediately.
Others may be selected for additional inspection without any warning or explanation.
Unfortunately, AutoEfect cannot speed up customs officers, influence inspection decisions, or request priority treatment.
If local authorities apply import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, or other government charges, those costs are determined entirely by your country’s regulations.
We wish customs accepted compliments about your modified car as payment.
So far, they haven’t.
When Your Tracking Takes a Vacation
Many customers are curious about the following:
“My tracking hasn’t changed for several days. Is my package lost?”
Usually, the answer is no.
International tracking often pauses while shipments travel between countries or wait to be processed at major logistics centers.
During this period, your package is frequently moving even though the tracking page appears frozen.
Once it reaches the next scanning location, several updates may appear at once.
Tracking can sometimes feel like watching only the highlights of a race—you won’t see every moment, but you’ll catch the important milestones.
If Something Doesn’t Look Right
We’re enthusiasts too, and we understand that waiting for new car parts can feel longer than waiting for a green traffic light when nobody else is around.
If you notice something unusual—an unexpected delay, confusing tracking information, or a delivery that seems to have stopped making progress—please let us know.
Our support team will review the shipment, contact the carrier when appropriate, and help determine the best available solution.
Sometimes the answer is simple.
Sometimes it requires a little investigation.
Either way, we’ll do our best to point everything back in the right direction.
Receiving Your Delivery
When your package arrives, we recommend opening it within a reasonable time and inspecting the contents before installation.
Verify that everything appears to be in good condition and matches what you ordered.
If you discover shipping damage or believe the incorrect item was delivered, take several clear photographs before using or installing the product.
Photos help us understand the situation much faster and allow us to work toward a solution without unnecessary back-and-forth emails.
A Quick Note About Installation
Many AutoEfect products are designed to improve the appearance of your vehicle, but proper installation plays a major role in achieving the best final result.
Professional installation is recommended whenever a product requires electrical work, steering components, structural mounting, or specialized tools.
Installing a performance-inspired part with a kitchen spoon may create memories—but probably not the kind you’re hoping for.
Following the manufacturer’s instructions and using appropriate equipment helps protect both your vehicle and your new upgrade.
Our Promise
We can’t promise that every shipment will arrive at exactly the same speed.
We can’t promise perfect weather, empty airports, or customs officers who skip their coffee breaks.
What we can promise is something much more valuable.
We’ll package your order with care.
We’ll provide shipping information whenever available.
We’ll answer your questions honestly.
And whenever an unexpected shipping issue appears, we’ll work with you to find the most practical solution.
That’s how we believe automotive enthusiasts should be treated.
Thank you for choosing AutoEfect.
Now comes the difficult part—trying not to check your tracking page every fifteen minutes.
